John Elwood - Islander

John Elwood sent us this photo and info on 3-9-24. John scratch built the Islander using the H116 Tug Exeter hull.
He says: Believe I built this back in 2009. Made several trips to Mystic Seaport to take detailed photos and measurements of SABINO.
SABINO is 57' whereas ISLANDER is 83'. Mine depicts those that ran between the islands in Maine back in the day.
Second photo - John says:
This was my starting point back in 2006. I believe the hull is plaster, not sure.
Wooden block attached to hold screw from the piece of plywood underneath for handling.
