Frank Palmer 1955 34' "Sport Fishing Boat" converted from H132-1 Full Hull lobster boat

Frank Palmer says:
Well I’ve been playing around with another one of your HO scale boats, the 34’ Lobster Boat full hull. I modeled it after a Pompano Beach, FL boat from around 1955. It was owned by the Merritt brothers and was part of their Caliban fleet of sport fisherman.

I redesigned the cabin and added a flying bridge. Had a friend cut the parts out for me on his laser. The trunk cabin fit right in, perfect. The outriggers and radio antenna were made from piano wire. The fighting and captain’s chairs are from kits converted to chairs with arms.
